QSUB T Series: Thermostatic Control
In thermostatically controlled heat stations, the control is based on the temperature, i.e., it is done thermostatically. The system gives priority to domestic hot water usage. However, even during domestic hot water consumption, the heating function continues partially. The system mainly consists of a thermostatic temperature controller and a heat exchanger. The sensing element of the thermostatic temperature controller is immersed in the heat exchanger. Thus, when domestic hot water consumption starts within the apartment, the sensing element starts cooling down, and the thermostatic temperature controller opens. The hot water from the boiler is directed to the heat exchanger and starts heating the domestic hot water. When the domestic hot water consumption within the apartment ends, the sensing element inside the heat exchanger heats up and closes the heat exchanger circuit. The system remains closed until it cools down.
